Caldo de huesos de cerdo. Servido con nuestro cha-shu, hongo ostra, huevo ajitama, tomate rostizado, cebollino y nori.

What a fantastic surprise! We were driving from La Fortuna to Los Quetzales national park, and we looked for something interesting and delicious to eat for lunch. We found a blog post by a self-desribed foodie who made Ramenezco sound like a good choice.
Wow. Just … wow. This was some of the best ramen I’ve ever had, anywhere in the world. We had both the Ramen de la panzada and the Ramen de especias. Very different, and equally wonderful.
The ossobuco croquettes were a fantastic start to the meal, and the Delirio Mágico cocktail was sweet but well balanced.

The taste is amazing, I had the pork ramen and it was sweet and spicy, the meat was thinly sliced which made for a tasty spoonful, it didn’t have much fat.
The service was great, they had a special dish and the hostess went to great lengths to explain what’s in it and how do they make it, they came a couple of times to check everything was okay.

My husband and I enjoyed celebrating his birthday there. We were lucky to have found a ramen restaurant with vegan options. It’s absolutely a gem!
Food tastes amazingly delicious. The vegan noodle I ordered has lots of toppings including a slice of grilled tomato (not typical, yet so flavorful). Presentation is beautifully done.
From the carefully prepared food, you can tell the kitchen crew really put their hearts to make dining there an unforgettable experience. Great service and ambience too.
We had a chance to talk to the restaurant owner. He clearly has passion to make delicious and creative food in San Jose. Everything is store made. We loved the vegan kimchi. We’ve had a lot of mochi in Japan and San Francisco, their mochi has an added hint of rich Costa Rica fruit flavor.

Amazing! The staff was very friendly, willing to explain everything about their cuisine. The taste, presentation and price were perfect for the food you are getting. The place is cool, quiet and nice atmosphere that has outdoor and indoor space. The staff was really nice, and they offered great recommendations. I tried one vegetarian ramen and it was delicious, would totally recommend it, a lot of flavor and the dish was big enough. Also, the gyozas were amazing!
They have several beer and cocktail options. I tried a ginger beer and it was really good. The food is not cheap at all (the ramen options range from around 7000 to 10000), but overall I enjoyed the experience!
Vegetarian options: There are 3 vegetarian Ramen options. Several entrées also.
Parking: There’s plenty of parking space, but you have to park on the nearby streets and pay the street guards.
